Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Meat Processing Operator to join our production team in Scarborough. The successful candidate will be responsible for marinating, handling, and packaging poultry and meat products in a fast-paced food production environment while maintaining high standards of food safety and quality.
Responsibilities
- Process, marinate, portion, and package meat and poultry products according to production specifications
- Operate processing and packaging equipment safely and efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards throughout the production area
- Follow all GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), food safety, and workplace safety procedures
- Perform quality checks to ensure product consistency and packaging accuracy
- Accurately label, seal, and prepare products for shipment
- Work effectively in refrigerated and cold-temperature environments
Requirements
- Experience in meat processing, food production, or manufacturing preferred
- GMP training/certification
- Strong hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
- Comfortable handling raw meat and poultry products
- Ability to work in cold or refrigerated environments for extended periods
- Able to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks
