Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Quality Inspectors specializing in the automotive industry to join our dynamic logistics team. This role is essential in ensuring the efficient movement, storage, and management of automotive parts and equipment within our warehouse environment. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting production, shipping, and receiving operations by utilizing mechanical skills and warehouse management systems. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to a fast-paced, safety-conscious facility committed to excellence.

Start date Tues Oct 13 at 7am

Duties

  • Quality inspection parts and or materials
  • Lifting up to 20 lbs occasionally
  • Pick, pack, and prepare orders accurately for shipment by utilizing order picker tools and warehouse management systems.
  • Assist with shipping and receiving activities by inspecting incoming goods, verifying order accuracy, and documenting inventory movements.
  • Maintain organized storage areas to optimize space utilization and facilitate quick retrieval of parts.
  • Support inventory control processes through regular stock counts, cycle counts, and updating warehouse management systems.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure timely processing of orders and shipments in accordance with production schedules.
  • Follow safety procedures diligently during all material handling tasks to prevent accidents or injuries.

Experience

  • Proven experience in warehouse distribution or logistics within the automotive or construction sectors.
  • Mechanical knowledge
  • Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) for inventory tracking and order processing.
  • Hands-on experience with shipping & receiving procedures, including load & unload operations.
  • Prior experience with order picking using electronic or manual systems.
  • Knowledge of construction or industrial environments is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Strong understanding of safety regulations related to heavy equipment operation and warehouse activities.
